Shade A-Ray Quality Fabrics
Our Shade-A-Ray shade sail is made from the highest quality high density polyurethane, a colour pigment and high UV pigment that blocks up to ninety five percent of the sun’s harmful rays. The shade sail can be used in all weathers as it is totally unaffected by moisture and changes in the temperature. Medical opinion is squarely behind the idea that too much exposure to the sun’s UV rays can be extremely harmful, particularly for children under the age of 10.
The shade sail is good news because it is designed to protect you from those harmful rays. Your shade sail will not rip or tear when you pull it tight because it is bordered with 50mm seat webbing, and two layer webbing is sewn into the whole of the shade’s perimeter. The fabric is knitted, not woven, so it will not tear or fray. The fabric is warranted against UV degradation for a full 10 years.
